Homebodii Bride of the Month: Nadia Campacci

A little bit about me…

I’m someone who deeply values both love and friendship, especially in my marriage. My husband and I are avid golfers—our shared passion for the game has been a cornerstone of our relationship. In fact, he proposed to me on the golf course, which felt like the perfect reflection of our bond! We’ve built a life where we are truly best friends first, always supporting each other and cheering each other on. By day, I work in the corporate world within the biopharmaceutical industry, balancing a fulfilling career with the joy of planning our future together. We’re now excitedly expecting a baby boy this spring, ready to embrace this next chapter in our lives with love and anticipation.

Our approach to planning the wedding was…

When it came to planning our wedding, we wanted to create a magical event that our guests would remember for years to come. We chose a clean white palette as the foundation, allowing the elegance of simplicity to shine through. With this base, we added modern touches to bring a fresh, contemporary feel, while always keeping the essence of classic and timeless style. The result was a celebration that felt both chic and sophisticated, blending tradition with a modern twist to reflect our unique love story.

Looking back on the day we are so glad that we…

Looking back on our wedding day, we’re so glad we made the decision to take some time for just the two of us before joining our guests during cocktail hour. It gave us a chance to savour the moment, soak in the joy of the day, and truly appreciate the significance of what was happening. Having that quiet time together, away from the hustle of the event, allowed us to reflect on the journey we had taken to get there and the exciting future ahead. It was a precious pause that made the rest of the celebration even more meaningful and memorable.

The most unexpected part of the day was…

The most unexpected part of our wedding day was the absolutely perfect weather we were blessed with. In the days leading up to the wedding, we had been watching the forecast closely, with rain in the days before and even a downpour the day after. We were a bit anxious, as our ceremony was set to be outdoors, but somehow, on our special day, the skies were clear and the sun was beaming! It felt like a true gift as if the universe was aligning to make our day as beautiful as possible.

When I look back on the day now I feel…

When I look back on our wedding day, I feel a sense of relief to have it all behind me—after months of planning and anticipation, it was a whirlwind leading up to that moment. But at the same time, I’m filled with overwhelming gratitude for how truly incredible the day turned out to be. It was everything we had hoped for and more, a perfect celebration of our love surrounded by those who mean the most to us. It felt like the perfect beginning to the rest of our lives together, and I’ll always cherish the memories of that day as the start of this beautiful journey.

A word of advice to new brides would be…

My advice to new brides is simple: don’t sweat the small stuff. There will be moments when things don’t go exactly as planned, but in the grand scheme of things, it won’t matter. Focus on the bigger picture and the love you’re celebrating. Lean on your planners or bridal squad when you need to—they’re there to help make everything easier and take some of the pressure off. Trust that they’ve got your back, and remember, the most important thing is marrying the person you love, surrounded by the people who mean the most to you.

My Homebodii moment was special because, and I wore…

My Homebodii Georgina robe was truly special because it was the first outfit I put on that morning, and it was at that moment that I truly felt like a bride. As I slipped into the gorgeous robe, getting glammed up, a wave of emotions washed over me. It was such a beautiful, intimate moment—the calm before the excitement of the day ahead. I felt incredibly beautiful and at peace, knowing this was the start of something incredible. The robe became a symbol of that quiet, yet profound, transition into the next chapter of my life.
